The Window to the Soul Photo Challenge

Dear Sirs and Madams,
     I am pleased to announce that a pleasant blogger friend, Allie, and I are co-hosting a photography contest! It is called The Window to the Sould Photo Challenge, due to this Yiddish proverb...

The eyes are the windows to the soul.

Below are the rules and the buttons; go to my blog or Allie's (link above) to enter.

1. The theme is EYES; the photograph can be of anything with eyes; the more focus on the eyes, the better.

2. You can enter up to three photographs in the contest.

3. They can be edited, but please specify how if possible.

4. One way to enter is to e-mail Allie at allie.reid96@gmail.com.

5. The other and likely most convenient way to enter is to post your photos on your blog, and comment on one of our blogs with the link.

6. If you do the latter method mentioned above, leave a comment on ONLY ONE of our blogs; NOT both.

7. There will be first, second, and third places, along with three honorable mentions.

8. We will judge by what pictures are the most creative, clear, picturesque, and eye-focused; NOT on favoritism toward the photographer.

9. We'd love it if you'd take one or both of the buttons,  post about the contest, and/or tell your friends!

10. Enter as soon as possible; we don't want you to forget!

11. Have Fun!!!!

The contest started the 14th and ends on the 29th!

In case you are wondering about the prize, we have it planned but have not discussed whether to tell now or not so...it is a surprise! Please enter, and as soon as possible!

My New Blog!

Hello! I have created a new blog. It is currently called "Quotation Marks" but it might very well change in the future. I'll simply post some quotations every other day or somewhere around there. HERE's the link. Of course, I don't have any followers yet, but I'd love to! This is more of a beneficial opportunity for YOU because it's {almost} a quote of the day. Though I'm sure many of you have something similar on your blogs....please check it out!

Hello, wonderful fellow staff members! Maybe you've heard this before, but I'm having a photography contest over at my blog...

It's on the sidebar; it's ~Life Through the Left Window.

Any way, I'm not sure if we're supposed to just get on here anytime and write a post, but I think it's okay!

I've been going through a lot of changes (it is my first contest) and you may have seen the rules earlier. Here they are as they will stand:

*It's called A [Slightly Odd] Photography Contest

*The subject is seating (that's where the odd part comes in)

*You can enter up to three photos

*If you have my email address, it'd be best to e-mail the pictures directly to me; if not, just post them on your blog and let me know

*There will be a runner-up and a winner, and likely some honorable mentions

*The FINAL (believe, there's been plenty) deadline is a week from now, September 9

Now, that may seem like short notice, but I started August 20 and have three entries. Please enter!
